Meet The Staff

Danna Emmons, Office Manager 

Danna began working at Bagnell Dental Clinic at its inception in March 2015 as the Office Manager.  Born and raised in California, she moved with her husband and three of her four adult children.    One still lives in CA and just became a mom for the first time, another graduated from UofM and played soccer for the Griz for two years. Her third daughter attended Frenchtown High School  and is graduating from the University of Montana Western in the spring. Her only  son just graduated from Frenchtown High School. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends and attending their sporting events. She also enjoys running, reading,  going to church with her family and being a new Grandma. 

Annie Hart, Front Office 

Annie was born and raised in Alaska.  She moved here in 2015. She has two adult sons.  Annie is an amazing person and loves to help other people.  She has a teamwork attitude that is difficult to match and an awesome sense of humor.  In her free time she keeps in touch with her Alaskan family by Face-timing them, taking walks, floating the river and ice skating.  She says that she loves going to the “Dentist” everyday.   Her favorite quote from Dr. Seuss: “They sure are handy when you smile, so keep you teeth around awhile.

Darby Emmons-Front Office 

Darby moved to Missoula to attend University of Montana in the fall of 2015.  She was born and raised in central CA where she played competitive soccer for most of her youth and after high school attended one year at Azusa Pacific where she played on the soccer team.  At UofM she played for the Griz on their women’s soccer team until she recently hung up her cleats to finish her senior year.  Darby has been working here part time at the front desk and assisting in the back.  She loves working with the staff and patients and can’t wait to see what her future holds. 

 Christy Sturm-Registered Dental Hygienist

Christy was born and raised in a large family near Anaconda, MT. Following high school she attended the University of Montana Tech.  After taking some time off from school to work and travel she attended MSU, Great Falls where she received her A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene, class of 2010.  Christy is married and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, running, traveling, spending time with her two furry family members, Bennington and Ledger and most outdoor activities.  Christy joined Bagnell Dental Clinic in August of 2016. She is an awesome addition to the practice as she brings fun to dentistry and loves her patients.

Kristi Stav- Registered Dental Hygienist

Born and raised in Texas, Kristi brings vast experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the last 20 years.  She graduated from Wharton County Jr. College and received her licensure in June 1997.  She met her husband and moved to the Big Sky in 2003.  Together they live in Frenchtown along with their three children, Colter, Ryder and Kimber.  Kristi has been working at Bagnell Dental since March of 2017.  In her pastime, she loves gardening and crafting along with her other passion of photography.  She loves spending time with her family camping, hunting and fishing. 

Taylor Walhood-Registered Dental Hygienist
Taylor, our newest Hygienist. She is awesome and loves getting to know her patients. She is a Montana native who grew up in Polson. Taylor loves the outdoors-riding her horse, fishing, hunting mountain lions with her family and hound dogs, camping and working out.  She graduated from University of Wyoming with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene.  She has worked in the dental field since high school, so brings years of experience .  We are excited to have her on our team. 

Laura Cyr, Dental Assistant

Laura brings vast experience and knowledge from her many years of working in the dental field. She began working for Bagnell Dental Clinic part time in the summer of 2015 and full time in January 2016. She was born in Missoula and raised in Nine Mile, where she still resides.  She graduated from Frenchtown High School. Laura is married and has two grown daughters, two son-in-laws and five awesome grand kids. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family. Her other loves are her horses, dogs gardening and four-wheeling.

 Leah Forrest-Dental Assistant

Leah was born and raised in beautiful Butte, MT.  In 2010 she married her husband who she met at her family’s lumberyard. She graduated from the University of MT Western in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education.  It was after that she found herself in the dental field. She worked in an office in Butte for six years before just recently moving with her husband and their two furry kids to Missoula, so that her husband could pursue his college degree.   Leah is a great addition to our team with her beautiful smile and sweet personality. 

Tara Weisenburger, Dental Assistant

Tara was raised in Superior, Montana.  After graduation from Superior High School in 2009 she spent one year in Austria as an Au Pair. She has been married to her husband Cody for four years and has two beautiful little girls.  She and her family reside in Huson now and one of her daughters attends Frenchtown Elementary. Her hobbies include traveling, fly fishing, hiking into lakes and spending time with family.  Tara joined our Bagnell Family in 2018 as a dental assistant and has been a great addition to our team.  Her grandpa was Dr. Donald Bauer in Superior, so she has been “around” dentistry most of her life!

Angie Unsworth, Dental Assistant

Angie’s parents raised her and her four siblings in the Nine Mile Valley. They all still reside in the area, so she is a Frenchtown Native. She has been married to her husband Joel for three years and has two adorable little boys.  Angie is new to dental in the last year and has been an awesome addition to our Bagnell  Dental Team.  She loves to spend time with her family, hunt, hike and dodge out of lawn work as often as possible.  We love her sense of humor and quick wit. It’s definitely a family trait.
